April Bullet Journal Theme
Bold Florals and Monochromatic Greens
By Caley King @caleysjournal
April is here, and with it, a fresh new bullet journal theme! If I’m honest, I fretted over this one a lot because it’s a big month for me. At the end of it, I’ll turn 40. 😳 I went back and forth for a couple of days trying to decide if I wanted to do an 80s or 90s theme and eventually decided to keep it simple. I find when I overcomplicate my bullet journal cover page, it keeps me from using the journal when I don’t have time to set up something elaborate throughout the month.
I came up with the circles and lettering pretty quickly and then let it sit for several days, unable to commit to a color scheme. Is this just me?
Also, I think this is the first time I’ve remembered to photograph my calendar before I start filling it out. I’ve left some space for when we’ll be in San Pancho for my 40th with a big group of friends because I think I want to draw something there to fill that space.
Here’s this minimal, green setup for spring!
Supplies:
Arrtx Acrylic Markers Brush Tip (For whatever reason, these markers photograph much more streaky than they actually are.)
Happy journaling!
